Broccoli Green Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 1 tablespoon broccoli vegetable powder BrRad
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any other plant-based milk)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • Ice, as desired

Instructions:

  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender.

Instructions:

Broccoli Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup vegetable powder BrRad
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (or vegetable oil)
  • Oil for greasing the pan

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the broccoli vegetable powder BrRad, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the liquid mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and lightly grease it with oil.
  5. Pour approximately 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot pan and cook until bubbles form on the surface.
  6. Flip the pancake and cook the other side until golden brown.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.

Lentil Burgers with Vegetable Powder

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cooked lentils
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable powder BrRad
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor, add the cooked lentils and pulse a few times until lightly mashed. Do not puree completely; there should be small pieces remaining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat a little vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated carrot. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the mashed lentils, breadcrumbs, vegetable powder BrRad, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Mix everything until well combined.
  4. Form burger patties with the mixture, pressing firmly to hold their shape. If the mixture is too wet, add a little more breadcrumbs.
  5. In the same skillet, add a bit more vegetable oil and cook the burgers over medium-high heat until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  6. Serve the lentil burgers on burger buns with your favorite toppings and condiments.
